The Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of Indonesia in Tashkent will hold an investment forum, the Chamber’s press service said. The forum directed to expand the trade and economic cooperation between the business circles of Indonesia and Uzbekistan

The forum is intended to serve as a stimulus for the establishment of cooperation between Uzbek and Indonesian companies, as well as to raise the awareness of Indonesian businessmen about the investment climate in Uzbekistan.

Within the frame of the forum it is planned to discuss the main issues regarding bilateral cooperation, as well as the establishment of contacts with Indonesian partners. An Indonesian delegation, including the Deputy Minister for Development of Investment Climate Darmanvan Jayusman [transliterated], the Director of the Department for Indonesia Promotion Yuliot [transliterated], Deputy Director for Eastern Promotion of Indonesia Didin Henki Iravan [transliterated] and the Director of the Department for Promotion to Western Europe Andi Maulan [transliterated] will arrive in Uzbekistan for the forum.

The event is scheduled for 20 July. Venue: Le Grande Plaza Hotel.
