Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 21 November 2024, Flyadeal inaugurated direct flights from Jeddah to Tashkent. 

The first flight landed at Tashkent International Airport at 11:40 PM local time, carrying 320 passengers. To commemorate the occasion, the flight was greeted with a traditional water salute, and the crew received a warm welcome with flowers. 

A ceremony to mark the arrival of the inaugural flight was attended by representatives from Uzbekistan Airports, media outlets, and aviation enthusiasts. 

Flights between Jeddah and Tashkent will operate five times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays—using Airbus A330 aircraft. Starting from 1 December, flights will become daily. Additionally, from 15 December, Flyadeal will launch flights connecting Jeddah with Namangan. 

“Today, Flyadeal has joined the ranks of our partners, expanding the list of international airlines serving Uzbekistan’s airports. We take pride in this collaboration, especially since Flyadeal is a young and rapidly growing airline with an expanding fleet. Future plans include launching additional routes, such as Jeddah–Namangan and Medina–Tashkent,” stated Javlonbek Umarhodjayev, Head of Uzbekistan Airports. 

Flyadeal’s representative in Uzbekistan, Dilmurodkhon Bakhtierkhanov, emphasized the airline’s commitment to providing high-quality service, convenient schedules, and affordable fares. He expressed confidence that these new flights will not only strengthen aviation ties between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia but also facilitate travel for pilgrims journeying to Saudi Arabia for Umrah and Hajj.
