Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 11 to 14 October, heavy rains may lead to floods in several regions of Uzbekistan, according to UzHydromet.

The agency’s director, Sherzod Khabibullaev, stated that the highest risk of flooding is expected in certain districts of Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Tashkent, Namangan, Ferghana, and Andijan regions.

Residents in mountainous and foothill areas have been urged to take precautionary measures, as heavy rains could cause flash flooding.
