Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 August, the national flag of Uzbekistan was raised in the Olympic village of the XVIII Asian Games in Jakarta. This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee.

The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Zhasur Matchanov, representatives of the delegation and athletes of our country.

The Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang will be held from 18 August to 2 September 2018. In competitions, Uzbekistan will represent 232 athletes in 30 sports.
