Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A five-year-old boy died from an electric shock in Nurabad district of Samarkand region, the press service of the Children’s Ombudsman of Uzbekistan said.
On 16 May, a child touched an electric wire that ran in the Omondora mahalla in the village of Chunkaymysh. As a result of electric shock, he died at the scene.
A forensic medical examination was carried out to determine the cause of the child’s death. In this case, an internal investigation has been launched against Samarqand viloyat hududiy elektr tarmoqlari.
Currently, the Nurabad district prosecutor’s office is conducting a preliminary investigation.
