Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Eltazarov Juliboy Danabaevich was appointed the first vice-rector for internationalization and strategic development of the Silk Road International Tourism University in Samarkand.

It should be noted that Juliboy Eltazarov worked for many years as a visiting professor at foreign universities. In particular, from 1999 to 2000, he was a professor at the Department of Central Asian Languages at the University of Foreign Languages in Busan, South Korea.

In 2003 and 2005, he taught at the Universities of Humboldt and Frey in Berlin, Germany. In 2007–2010 he worked at the Institute of World Languages at Osaka University, Japan, and in 2010–2014 he worked at the Faculty of Modern Turkic Languages at Mugla University, Sitka Kochman, Turkey.

After that, Juliboy Eltazarov worked as a senior researcher at Samarkand State University, head of the department of scientific and scientific-pedagogical training, head of the department of the Uzbek language. From 2016 to the present, he was dean of the philological faculty of Samarkand State University.

Bahodir Turaev, who served as the first vice-rector for internationalization and strategic development, was previously dismissed due to lack of work.
