Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National Coordinator of Russia on the CIS Affairs and the First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov paid a working visit to Uzbekistan on 17-18 January 2010. During visit, Shuvalov met the Uzbek President Islam Karimov and the First Deputy Foreign Minister and Finance Minister Rustam Azimov. The sides considered issues of interaction within the CIS areas and various aspects of the Russian-Uzbek relations. The Russian embassy in Uzbekistan said the meetings were held in friendly and trustful atmosphere.
