Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Technological Park of software and information technologies (IT-Park) will be launched in Uzbekistan on 24 July 2019.

IT-Park is a complex of objects, buildings and structures, as well as equipment designed to launch promising start-up projects on the market, including through integration with scientific and educational organizations. A place where active and talented people will get a real chance to transform their ideas into real business projects through accounting, legal, marketing and scientific and educational support.

IT-Park completed to receive application for incubation and acceleration programs. Of the 103 applicants who applied, 41% were for the acceleration program (42 applications), 59% for the incubation program (61 applications). The youngest start-up is 16 years old, the oldest is 67. As a percentage, 51% of applicants are from 16 to 25 years old, 31% are from 26 to 35, and 18% are from 36 and above. The most popular IT areas are: E-Commerce - 54%, Online Education - 13% and IoT - 12%.

It is expected that IT-Park will cooperate with local and foreign mentors, as well as organizations and companies.

Residents  of the IT-Park will receive various tax and customs incentives till 1 January 2028. The employees of the IT-Park will also receive tax breaks.
