First Deputy and Deputy Governor of Tashkent appointed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 May 2019, two new appointments took place in Tashkent city administration.

Khotambek Shakirov was appointed as the First Deputy khokim of the city of Tashkent on economics and entrepreneurship. Prior to his appointment from 2018, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Alimardan Karshiev will now occupy the post of deputy khokim of the city of Tashkent for relations with public and religious organizations.

Prior to this appointment in 2011, he worked in the same position in the khokimiyat of Tashkent region.
