Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) has imposed fines on five insurance companies as part of its supervisory functions, ensuring compliance with established legislative requirements.

Upon reviewing the financial performance of these insurance companies, it was found that they failed to meet the regulatory standards set by law. As a result, fines totaling 117.5 million soums were imposed.

The agency said that JSC SEMURG INSURANCE was fined for 45.0 million soums, JSC O‘ZAGROSUG‘URTA – 22.5 million soums, JSC KAIS O‘ZBEKINVEST –22.5 million soums.

JSC ALSKOM SUG’URTA KOMPANIYASI will have to pay a fine for 17.5 million soums and JSC GLOBAL INSURANCE GROUP – 10.0 million soums.
