Third Tashkent International Film Forum “Golden Guepard” will be held on 19-24 October within the Art Week Style.uz.

The organizers said that over 500 full-length, short and animated films were submitted to the festival. The jury selected 11 full-length, 13 short and 10 animated films to the festiva.

Akbar Hakimov, director of the festival, said that the works represent almost all continents. He said that three short and two full-length Uzbek films will be presented at the festival. He added that there will be no animation films from Uzbekistan at the festival as the foreign creators are stronger than their Uzbek colleagues.

The jury will determine winners on six nominations – “The best animation film”, “The best short film”, “The best male role”, “The best female role”, “The best director” and “The best full-length film”.

The festival will include master classes of foreign experts. It will also include an international conference on cinema on 23 October 2013.
