Festival of electronic music "Element" takes place in Muynak

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The next festival of electronic music, art and science "Element" was held on 14-15 May in the city of Muynak, Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The festival was attended by the world famous music producer Nina Kraviz, as well as music producers, musicians and DJs from Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. Also, scientists, ecologists and specialists from Uzbekistan and Russia took part in the event.

Within the framework of the festival, a social action "6 billion trees" was held, during which more than 5,000 trees will be planted in the city of Muynak. The aim of the project is to gradually plant drought-resistant shrubs and fruit trees in the city of Muynak and in the lower reaches of the Aral Sea to improve the ecological situation in the region.

The 6 billion trees project was initiated by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Faculty of Acoustics LLC. The project is being implemented jointly with the State Committee and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The project is planned to be implemented on an ongoing basis with the participation of sponsors and volunteers of the republic.

Element was launched in 2018 as an electronic music event and is now a multifaceted field of music, culture, art and science. Also, the scientific forum N + "Element" will discuss the impact of human activity on today and the future, ecology and conservation of natural resources for future generations.

The idea of the festival of electronic music, art and science "Element" was put forward in 2017 by fans in Uzbekistan and aimed at the development of the Aral Sea region.

The tragedy of the Aral Sea is one of the most acute environmental problems in Central Asia. In his speech at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, Dear President Shavkat Mirziyoyev called on the world community to pay attention to this natural disaster and to unite all efforts. The festival, which began as a musical event on the shores of a dry part of the sea, has become a multifaceted trend.

Today "Element" is a collection of several projects with the participation of musicians, DJs, producers, artists and scientists. They are united by the goal of drawing public attention to unusual places on earth.
