Fenerbahçe defeat Başakşehir 3–1 in Turkish Super Lig

Fenerbahçe defeated Başakşehir 3–1 in the 32nd round of the Turkish Super Lig in Istanbul, strengthening their position near the top of the league table.

Brazilian forward Talisca was the standout performer of the match, scoring a hat-trick for Fenerbahçe. He netted in the 28th, 57th and 72nd minutes, giving the home side a decisive advantage throughout the game.

Başakşehir managed to respond once in the first half. Harit scored in the 36th minute to reduce the deficit, but the visitors were unable to build on that momentum.

Uzbek forward Eldor Shomurodov started the match for Başakşehir and played most of the game before being substituted in the 75th minute. Another Uzbek player, Abbosbek Fayzullaev, remained on the bench and did not take part in the match.

Following the victory, Fenerbahçe moved to 70 points and sits in second place in the league standings. Başakşehir remain sixth with 51 points in the Turkish Super Lig table.
