Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank, together with the international payment system VISA, organized a forum for representatives of commercial banks on risk management issues.

Experts of the international payment system "VISA" shared their experience in terms of risk monitoring and regulation of high-risk activities. They also discussed the current trends in cyber threats and fraud, the current risk programs of Visa and considered Visa's requirements for servicing banks to control risks in the retail network and when working with agents.

The experts noted that the topic of cybersecurity is becoming more relevant every year. Today, most attacks are still carried out using social engineering methods, that is, they use human gullibility or inattention. And therefore, increasing the cyber literacy of the population, as well as the qualifications of bank employees, play an important role in reducing the risks of fraud.

As a result of the forum, the participants in the discussion came to the conclusion that further joint cooperation is needed in the field of preventing cyber threats and fraud.
