Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev met with the head of the Chinese Academy of Tourism and Culture Lina Zhong.

During the meeting, they became familiar with the Tourism Big Data Platform, which was created by the Academy and provides more than 300 indicators and 140 indices for online monitoring and assessment of the state of China’s tourism industry.

In conclusion, it was decided to create a similar platform in Uzbekistan and test its capabilities for monitoring and assessing the state of the tourism industry.
