Jahon news agency under the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan reported the sides achieved agreement on allocation of loan for 30 million euros in the results of bilateral talks.
The loan will be directed at developing activities of Slovak companies in Uzbekistan, the agency reported.
The decision on loan allocation was adopted within the presentation of economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan, organized by the Slovak Agency on Trade and Investment Development in cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Bratislava.
The Uzbek delegation and representatives of over 50 Slovak companies, operating in such sectors as pharmaceuticals, chemical, textile and automobile industry, attended the presentation.
The presentation provided information on development of Uzbekistan, current state and potential of industries. The sides also agreed to create joint venture on production of spare parts for mixer.
