Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the government of Uzbekistan, led by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, is visiting Afghanistan on a working trip. As part of the visit, the official opening ceremony of the "Uzbekistan-Afghanistan" business forum and the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition took place in Kabul.

The event was attended by delegations from both countries, including Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Afghanistan’s Acting Prime Minister Abdul Ghani Baradar. The opening of the forum and exhibition highlighted the importance of developing trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

The Made in Uzbekistan exhibition is designed to showcase products from Uzbek enterprises, including textiles, leather goods, footwear, carpets, fruits and vegetables, electrical and cable products, as well as automotive and agricultural machinery, metallurgical, and petrochemical products. The goal of the exhibition is to secure export contracts, expand Uzbekistan’s export potential, and strengthen long-term cooperation with international partners.

The exhibition also includes meetings and negotiations for contract signing between business representatives from both countries. The Made in Uzbekistan exhibition will run until 21 August.
