Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 May, the grandiose exhibition "Archaeological Treasures of Uzbekistan. From Alexander the Great to the Kushan Empire” dedicated to the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan will open its doors to visitors in Berlin, Germany.
The exhibition will be opened on the territory of the Museum Island in Berlin, the exposition will be located in two museums at once - the James Simon Gallery and the Neues Museum.
The exhibition will feature 285 museum items from the collections of 9 museums in Uzbekistan, which cover the period from the arrival of Alexander the Great in the second half of the 4th century BC until the end of Kushan rule in the 4th century AD. All exhibits were successfully and safely packaged and safely sent to Berlin for further display.
The exhibition, organized by the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan, will run until 14 January 2024.
