Prior to appointment, he was responsible for development of SAP Business One and several other directions in the CIS.

Evgeny Matveev said that further strengthening relations with the state bodies and large businesses, adaptation of the best industry practices to peculiarities of each countries of the region, localization of solutions, support of innovations and preparation of IT cadres are priorities for the SAP in key region.

Large state structures and companies are key clients of the company in Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. SAP participates in creation of national cloud infrastructure and IT platform for small and medium businesses in cooperation with E-Government Center in Uzbekistan.
