On Monday, Andrus Ansip held negotiations with the Speaker of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Dilorom Tashmukhamedova.

The sides exchanged opinion on current affairs and perspectives of development of relations between legislative bodies of Uzbekistan and Estonia.

The sides noted that there is opportunity for lifting inter-parliamentary cooperation to new quality level. The sides discussed issues on further boosting cooperation in this direction.

The head of Estonian government also held talks with the Chairperson of Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Ilgizar Sobirov.

During the talks, the sides underlined importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation in strengthening legal base of bilateral ties. The sides discussed issues of further boosting ties in this direction.

The Prime Minister of Estonia also held negotiations with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Prime Ministers discussed issues related to trade, economic, investment, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian relations between Uzbekistan and Estonia.
