Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed a video message to the participants of the Extraordinary Meeting of the Ministers of Information of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

In his speech, he condemned the actions of the Israeli administration in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the brutality and destruction of residents, as well as support from Western powers.

Erdogan noted that currently more than 30 thousand Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip, and over 70 thousand have been injured.

The Turkish President expressed hope that the meeting of OIC Information Ministers will be useful for media representatives, especially those working in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

He emphasized that Israel seeks to manipulate information and misinform world public opinion.

Erdogan called for preventing Israeli disinformation efforts and noted the importance of the role of a free press in revealing the truth.
