He said that timely and gradual measures on prevention and fight against epidemic in Uzbekistan allowed to ensure stable epidemic situation.
Saydaliev said change of seasons, sharp change of weather create favourable conditions for spread of such dangerous infectious diseases as influenza and typhoid. He said it is important to pay attention to prevent such diseases.
Typhoid is sharp infectious intestinal disease, outburst of which is observed in summer and autumn months. Pathogenic organism is Salmonella typhi bacteria, which is resistant in external environment. Mainly children of school age fall sick with it.
Uzbek official said that foreign media reported that over 100 people were infected with Typhoid in neighboring states. He said the difficult situation in these states pushes Uzbekistan to strengthen attention to preventing outburst of this disease in the territory of Uzbekistan. Corresponding bodies and organizations are expanding preventive measures in connection with this.
Saidmurod Saydaliev said Uzbekistan Health Ministry created a group on fight with this decease. The group gathers information on various diseases from all territory of Uzbekistan and analyzes and coordinates all preventive measures. He added that sanitary-epidemic service carries out regular control over water and its quality. The corresponding measures are adopted on revealed problems.
Saydaliev said the gradual preventive work are conducted at the territory, bordered with neighbouring states. He added that water at open water reservoirs and water pipes tested to reveal typhoid microbe.
Saydaliev underlined that the sanitary-control service is strengthened at the borders to reveal people, infected with typhoid and other infectious diseases. The border service was fully supplied with immunobiological medicaments, used against these diseases, disinfection means and corresponding medicaments.
