At the same time, the volume of services rendered to population reached 1.87 trillion soums, which grew by 22.5%, the press service of the State Committee on communication, information and telecommunication technologies of Uzbekistan said.

Total speed of international channel to Internet rose by 24% compared to the beginning of 2014 and reached 12.74 Gbps.

Number of ports, installed to render fixed broadband internet, reached to 619,500 units and number of used ports rose by 33.3%.

It was said that the project on construction of over 2,000 km of optic-fibre broadband access with providing modern services such as video telephony, Internet TV, high-speed internet, HDTV and others is implemented. Currently, over 3,300 km of optic fibre line were constructed.

The tariffs for international channels was decreased to ISPs up to US$286.74 per 1 Mbps, which fell by 2.1% compared to the beginning of 2014 and 17.4% compared the same period of 2013.
