Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will host the women’s sports competition “Nafosat-2019” for the first time in the history of domestic sport.

The main goal of this large-scale event, organized by the National Olympic Committee in conjunction with the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, is the promotion of sports, physical culture, and a healthy lifestyle among our women.

Qualification competitions in such sports as handball, badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and cycling are already taking place in all regions of Uzbekistan. According to the program of the tournament, the finals will be held in the capital on 1-2 March. Winners and prize-winners will be awarded with diplomas, medals and valuable gifts.

The solemn closing ceremony of the sports contest "Nafosat-2019" and the awarding of the winners will be held on 3 March at the Sports Palace "Uzbekistan".

The upcoming event will be unforgettable, as the guest of the sports festival will be a two-time Olympic champion (2004, 2008) in pole-vaulting, a three-time world champion and a 4-time world champion indoors, the European champion both outdoors and indoors, the owner 28 world records in pole vaulting Elena Isinbayeva.

In addition, for the spectators and guests will be organized a concert with the participation of national pop stars.
