Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Eldor Shomurodov, the forward for Italy’s AS Roma and the Uzbekistan national team, may be on the verge of leaving the Roman club, according to Italian sports journalist Nicolo Schira.

In the current Serie A season, Shomurodov has made seven appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

Earlier reports indicated that Shomurodov expressed dissatisfaction with his role in the team and hinted at the possibility of a departure.

So far, neither AS Roma representatives nor the player himself have issued official comments regarding a potential transfer.
