Eight Uzbek weightlifters to participate at World Championship

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Weightlifting Federation adopted decision on structure of national team, which will participate at the World Championship in Wrocław, Poland, from 16 to 27 October 2013, Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee said.

Uzbekistan national team will have eight athletes – Mahliyo Togayeva (up to 48 kg), Marina Sisoyeva (-53 kg), Manzurahon Mamasalieva (-69 kg), Ruslan Makarov (-62 kg), Doston Yakubov (-69 kg), Ulugbek Alimov (-77 kg), Sardorbek Dusmuratov (-105 kg) and Ruslan Nurudinov (-105 kg).

Ruslan Nurudinov, 22, won the University Games in Kazan, setting two records. He is also a silver medalist of World Championship in Paris in 2011.
