Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Farovon district, a new area developing rapidly in Navoi and home to over 15,000 residents, continues to expand with facilities focused on education and community growth.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev recently visited the newly built School No. 22, which serves approximately 1,800 students. Equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, a gymnasium, a football field, and a library connected to the National Library of Alisher Navoi’s digital system, the school reflects a significant investment in education.
Education has become a priority under the Uzbekistan 2030 strategy. School No. 22 aims to bring its education quality closer to that of Presidential and specialized schools, selecting 104 teachers through a competitive process and incorporating advanced international methods into its curriculum.
The school places particular emphasis on foreign language learning and training in modern professions. Students can participate in more than ten extracurricular clubs, covering applied arts, hospitality, drawing, photography, IT, and robotics. A partnership with the Ministry of Defense allows the organization of military-patriotic clubs, where students learn about historical leaders and engage in patriotic activities.
The President highlighted the importance of patriotism and motivation in education: “Being educated and having a profession is important, but a sense of homeland makes a person stronger.”
For safety and energy efficiency, the school features a Face ID entry system and solar panels, ensuring a secure and sustainable learning environment.
