Information event was held within the work of the Second Interactive Forum of the Ambassadors of the CIS states. Representatives of over 50 companies familiarized with measures, adopted in Uzbekistan, to create favourable investment climate and development of direct and mutual beneficial ties, Jahon news agency reported.
The Uzbek side presented information on social-economic reforms in the country, tax preferences for foreign capital, including conditions at the Navoi free industrial and economic zone, Angren special industrial zone and Jizzakh special industrial zone, other perspective projects, realized in Uzbekistan.
Indian businesses highly rated advantages of Uzbek economy, which offers rich resources, access to regional markets, development of transport-logistic system, diversified industrial base, etc.
They also received information on international Uzbek cotton and textile file, international industrial and cooperation exchange, which will be held in autumn 2013.
The meeting also discussed perspectives of boosting trade-economic relations between businesses of two nations, including via websites www.exporter.uz and www.logistika.uz.
