Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the international event “Shakhrisabz - the tourist capital of the ECO,” Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev held a B2B meeting with the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Khusrav Noziri.

At the beginning of the negotiations, the head of the ECO noted that the international event being held in Shakhrisabz was organized at a high level and expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side.

“We highly appreciate the efforts of the President of Uzbekistan to develop tourism cooperation with ECO member states. In particular, the ECO will use all its resources to implement the initiative to create a Tourism Advisory Council within the organization. We hope that the necessary documents will be developed in the near future and the first meeting of the Advisory Council will take place,” said Khusrav Noziri.

During the bilateral dialogue, important aspects of the development of interaction between tour operators of the ECO member states were discussed, as well as bringing specialized education to a new level and high-quality training of personnel in the field of tourism.
