The bank said its report, issued on Thursday, 28 October 2010, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan will increase by 8.5% in 2011, which is up 1.5 percentage points compared to July report of the EBRD.
At the same time, EBRD retained its forecast of economic growth of Uzbekistan in 2010 at the level of 8.2%.
As earlier reported, the government of Uzbekistan expects that the GDP of the country will make up 8.3% in 2010. IMF forecasted that the real GDP growth will make up 8% in 2010 and 7% in 2011. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) forecasted that Uzbekistan’s economy will grow by 8.5% in 2010 and 9% in 2011.
