Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 December 2024, at 8:01 PM local time (3:01 PM GMT), an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 was recorded in the Jondor district of Uzbekistan’s Bukhara region, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.
The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km, with coordinates 40.26°N and 63.12°E.
The distance from the epicenter to Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent, is approximately 525 km southwest.
No reports of casualties or significant damage have been received at this time.
