E-Government and Digital Economy Project Management Center to cooperate with the Singapore Management Development Institute

Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On May 22, a solemn ceremony of signing a memorandum of understanding between the E-Government and Digital Economy Project Management Center at the National Project Management Agency and the Singapore Management Development Institute took place in the building of the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The ceremony was attended by Ruslan Sultanov, Director of the E-Government and Digital Economy Project Management Center, and Jasur Salikhov, Rector of the Singapore Management Development Institute in Tashkent.

The meeting of the parties took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere. Representatives of the institute were acquainted with the history of e-government development in the country and the results achieved in this industry.

At the same time, as part of the signing ceremony, the parties discussed conceptual issues and concrete measures to unite efforts to further improve and increase the efficiency of work in the field of e-government and the digital economy, in particular, digitalization of the economy, transformation of public services, attracting PPP start-up projects, the introduction of innovative ideas, technologies and other projects in the field of IT.

The sides also discussed the direction of the upcoming cooperation, possible points of contact between science and production. It turned out a lot. First of all, it is the development and participation in joint projects to improve the e-government system.

Another important task is to attract volunteer students from the institute to conduct joint research, analytical activities and, most importantly, to forecast based on the available databases. In addition, it is planned to organize meetings of specialists and international experts of the Center with the students of the institute to familiarize themselves with the projects implemented in the framework of e-government.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on the inclusion of all the voiced proposals in the Roadmap for interaction.
