Employees of the museum at official website published an open letter to the Minister of Culture and Sport of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Ahmedov and said that they are against firing of Marinika Babanazarova.

The letter said that the team of museum cannot hide problems and pressure to it. The team attracted attention of the society to illegal firing of the director of the museum.

The team of the museum expressed outrage with slanderous letter, published in foreign mass media and state that the facts, outlined in the letter, are not true.

The museum staff called Bakhodir Ahmedov to deal with the situation and find the person, who is behind the letter and attract him for responsibility.

They also asked to conduct investigation on violations of procedures of conducting inventory of the museum’s funds and create an expert group to refute claims on substitution and theft of the museum’s exhibits.
