Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the very first day of the World Judo Championship in Qatar, the Uzbek team won a medal. Our compatriot Dilshodbek Baratov won the silver medal in the weight category up to 60 kg.

In an exciting final match, Spaniard Francisco Garrigos takes home the gold. This is Baratov’s first medal at the world championships. This result will allow the Uzbek wrestler to score 1,400 points in the world rankings and on the way to the Paris 2024 Olympics.
