Dilshod Akhatov receives a special envoy of the Swiss Foreign Ministry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 April 2019, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov met with the Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation for Water Affairs, Guy Bonvin, who arrived in our country on a working visit.

An exchange of views took place on key aspects of Uzbek-Swiss relations, including within the framework of international structures.

The sides discussed the priorities of cooperation in such areas as integrated water resources management, water supply to the rural population, where Switzerland has gained considerable experience, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in the further development of multidimensional and mutually beneficial relations, including the implementation of the Swiss Cooperation Strategy for Central Asia for 2017-2020.
