Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Prime Ministers appointed in Uzbekistan. Posts of deputy prime ministers - heads of complexes by branches of the economy and social sphere were abolished by a presidential decree dated 28 January. The number of vice-premiers has been reduced from eight to five.

Aziz Abdukhakimov has been appointed to the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Social Development.
Jamshid Kuchkarov became Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance. Tanzila Narbayeva retained the post of deputy prime minister - chairman of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan.
Elyor Ganiev was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.
