Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan’s top player Denis Istomin moved to quarterfinals of ATP Saint Petersburg after top seed Mikhail Yuzhniy (Russia) retired with injury.

Denis Isomin won the first set with the score 6/2 and was leading in the second 2/1, when Yuzhniy announced that he cannot continue to play.

Uzbek player will face another Russian Marat Safin, who also moved to next round after his compatriot Igor Andreev retired at the score 6/3, 0/1.
