Denis Istomin fails to win in final

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan’s top tennis player Denis Istomin lost in the final of Pilot Pen Tournament, which was held in New Haven (USA).

Denis Istomin played against Ukraine’s Sergei Stakhovsky. Istomin started the match with confidence and won the first set – 6:3.

But Denis Istomin lost the second set with the same score. In the final set, Ukrainian tennis player won 6:4 and claimed the tournament.

The match lasted 1 hour and 42 minutes. This was the first ATP final of Denis Istomin in his career.
