Denis Istomin claims 46th place in ATP ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Denis Istomin became the first tennis player of Uzbekistan, who entered to the world’s top 50 tennis players.

Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) published new ranking of tennis players on Monday, 23 August 2010.

Uzbekistan’s top player Denis Istomin moved seven places up in new ranking and now holds 46th place.

This is the best achievement in his career and history of the men’s tennis of Uzbekistan. Prior to this, none of Uzbek tennis players entered to Top-50.
