Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Delegations from Ferghana and Samarkand regions held talks with representatives of the Hungarian tourism sector.

The events and negotiations were aimed at promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan. The Hungarian side was presented with information on the tourism potential of the regions of Uzbekistan, as well as on the prospective investment programs in this sphere in our country.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to attract foreign capital for the implementation of investment projects in this area, as well as to increase the flow of tourists from Hungary to Uzbekistan.

The Hungarian side also expressed its consent to send delegations consisting of representatives of business circles to Samarkand and Ferghana regions with business purposes.

In addition, the parties agreed to launch video clips on the tourism potential of Uzbekistan on advertising screens in places of population concentration in Budapest.

A number of initiatives are also being undertaken in the field of education, including establishing links between prestigious universities in Hungary and higher education institutions in Ferghana, as well as organizing the exchange of experience.
