Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides considered implementation of bilateral documents, adopted during official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to Japan in February 2012.
The sides exchanged opinion on perspective directions of the Uzbek-Japanese relations, new joint projects in trade-economic, cultural-humanitatian cooperation.
The sides considered issues of interaction within international structures and regional issues.
The heads of delegations, which participated at the Fourth foreign ministers’ meeting in Tokyo within the framework of the “Central Asia-Japan” Dialogue, were received by Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda.
