Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan, visiting Canada to hold political consultations between Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada, met Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Morris Rosenberg, chairperson of parliamentary Friendship Group "Canada-Uzbekistan" and member of House of Commons Joe Daniel, Director of Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studied under Carleton University Jeff Sahadeo on 20-22 November 2012.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides considered actual aspects of the Uzbek-Canadian relations, and implementation of bilateral documents.

The delegation also met with leadership of Office on international affairs and inter-parliamentary issues of House of Commons, Canadian Business Association in Russia and Eurasia in Ottawa.

The Uzbek officials also visited Carleton University, one of leading Canadian educational institution, where briefing on the 20th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Constitution was held.
