Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 September, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan Sherzod Kudbiev and the head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia Daniil Yegorov.
At the meeting, the progress of the implementation of the agreement signed in Tashkent on April 14 this year and aimed at further digitalization of tax administration in the Republic of Uzbekistan was discussed in detail.
In particular, the parties agreed that by the end of this year joint work will be completed on the implementation of an automatic system for monitoring value added tax, which includes the analysis and identification of schemes for evading the payment of this tax.
It is also expected to put into commercial operation an analytical system for online cash registers and electronic receipts. The system will allow assessing the level of coverage of retail facilities by online cash registers, as well as automatically receiving aggregated information on the structure of the sale of goods and services.
Agreements were reached on sending a group of programmers and administrators of databases and data of the State Tax Committee to Moscow in October this year to exchange experience in the field of analysis and processing of big data.
Sherzod Kudbiev thanked the head of the Federal Tax Service for close and fruitful cooperation between the tax services of the two countries and invited Daniil Yegorov to visit Uzbekistan in the near future.
In turn, the head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia noted the results of successive tax administration reforms carried out by the leadership of Uzbekistan.
In particular, Russian colleagues were greatly interested in the successful experience of a complete transition to electronic invoices and the introduction of codification of goods and services.
The visit of the delegation of the State Tax Committee to the Russian Federation continues.
