During the meeting with the head of the Tax Service of Turkey Mr. Adnan Erturk, the sides exchanged experience in tax administration, on implemented reforms, strategic plans.
The Turkish side stressed that it is expanding the full-scale application of ICT in all areas of tax administration, especially in the direction of the risk-based approach and is preparing a project to create a Risk Analysis Center with a staff of 1200 people. Intensification of such efforts will allow to pass to a new level of innovative technologies, which will ensure the identification of additional sources of revenue to the budget.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their intention to continue interdepartmental cooperation and conclude a Memorandum of mutual cooperation in the use of modern ICT solutions in the field of tax administration (risk analysis, online cash register, electronic invoice, BIG DATA, etc.).
The meeting was held with the technical assistance of the Turkish Cooperation Coordination Agency in the field of tax reform in Uzbekistan.
