Delegation of South Korean visits State Competition Committee

UzA reported that chairperson of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for privatization, demonopolization and development of competition Abdulaziz Abduhakimov and deputy head of department of the South Korean President’s Office Be Nam Han (transliterated).

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of privatization of the public property, development of market economy and competition, further strengthening cooperation in demonopolization, exchange of experience.

Be Nam Han said that Uzbekistan has great experience in privatization and South Korea is interested in studying reforms in Uzbekistan and exchange experience. The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for privatization, demonopolization and development of competition has been cooperating with Korean Stock Exchange to modernize securities market and its infrastructure, as well as creation of online exchange.
