Delegation of Nanjing Polytechnic Institute visits Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Nanjing Polytechnic Institute headed by vice president Zhang Xiaozhun visited Tashkent, the press service of the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan.

The main purpose of the delegation’s visit is to establish links between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of higher education and to establish mutually beneficial cooperation.

In particular, meetings and negotiations were held with interested ministries and departments, the delegation familiarized itself with the Architectural Professional College, and considered the possibility of opening a branch of the Nanjing Polytechnic Institute in Tashkent.

Negotiations were held between the Ministry of Innovation Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Agency Uzstandart, Tashkent State University of Economics and the Republican Center for Entrepreneurial Training. An agreement was reached on launching a joint program with the Nanjing Polytechnic Institute, a joint faculty and a full-fledged branch.

Training in the Uzbek branch of the Nanjing Polytechnic Institute will be conducted in English and Chinese languages.

Negotiations were also held on sending students from Uzbekistan to the Nanjing Polytechnic Institute, and organizing the training of students in the format 2 + 2, 1 + 3, 3 + 1.

The leadership of the Tashkent State Economic University showed interest in taking over the experience of the Nanjing Polytechnic Institute in such areas as management, digital business and e-commerce.

Officials of the Uzstandart agency underlined the need to improve the level of professionalism of their employees in the chemical industry.

The parties agreed to continue these negotiations in the framework of the working visit of the Uzbek delegation to China.
