Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbaeva, is on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China.
On the first day of the visit, Tanzila Narbaeva held several meetings, including one with Wang Huning, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that, thanks to the efforts of the leaders of both countries, the multilateral strategic relations between Uzbekistan and China have reached a new level.
The Senate Chairperson also highlighted the importance of continuing inter-parliamentary relations, activating friendship groups, and establishing cooperation between the regions of the two countries, including interactions among local councils.
Additionally, plans for cooperation in various fields were discussed, including trade and economy, technology, transportation, energy, science and education, innovation, tourism, as well as issues related to agriculture and ecology.
