The event participants familiarized with expanding of the Uzbek-German cooperation in education and science, exchange of experience in financial-banking sector.
It was noted that it is important to strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in these directions and expand contribution of German side in expanding ties between Uzbekistan and the European Union as a whole.
The participants noted that the event will contribute for further strengthening cooperation among universities of Uzbekistan and Germany.
The presentation dedicated to modern social-economic development and rich tourism potential of Uzbekistan attracted the interest of the participants, the report said.
Rector of Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences Professor Josef Stockemer expressed gratitude for students and diplomatic mission to organization of the Day of Uzbekistan.
He said that the teachers and students of the university received chance about modern life in Uzbekistan, culture and traditions of the Uzbek people. He praised skills of the Uzbek students, who presented historic-cultural, economic, export and tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
