Davis Cup: John Isner not to play against Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The highest-ranked American male tennis player John Isner is not part of the roster for the US team that will play at Uzbekistan on 18-20 September 2015 within the World Group play-offs of Davis Cup.

US captain Jim Courier announced his roster on Monday. The US team will comprise Jack Sock, Sam Querrey, Steve Johnson and Donald Young. The matches of the play-off will be played in Tashkent.

Isner said he had decided to miss this Davis Cup playoff and added he needs to rest and that his knee has been bothering him.
