Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International Judo Federation introduced changes to its calendar as the additional Grand Slam tournament will be held in Brazil.
In this regard, after the World Championships, the date of some tournaments were changed, including the Tashkent Grand Prix.
According to the information of the International Judo Federation, published at the beginning of the year, the tournament in Tashkent was to be held in November. However, based on the new schedule, the Grand Prix of Tashkent will be held on 20-22 September.
It is noteworthy that after the World Championships, the Tashkent Grand Prix will be the first major tournament, during which rating points will be played for the 2020Tokyo Olympics. Top three winners of the Grand Prix receives 700-490-350 rating points, respectively.
